Friendswood High School Choir is turning Friday night dinner into a family event with food, music, characters, a silent auction and plenty of activities before the Mustangs take the field.
Talk of Friendswood Staff | October 1, 2026
FRIENDSWOOD, Texas — Families heading toward Friendswood High School Friday evening can start the night with dinner, entertainment and a little bit of magic at the FHS Choir’s Pasta Palooza.
The pregame event is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 2, in the Friendswood High School cafeteria.
Tickets are $15 and include a Sofia’s Italian dinner, dessert and an interactive family show. Friendswood ISD says tickets can also be purchased at the door, although advance purchase is preferred. :chatgpt-content-reference{index="1"}

More than a pasta dinner
Pasta Palooza is designed as more than a quick stop for dinner before the football game.
Friendswood ISD says the event will feature princesses and heroes along with singing, dancing, photos, autographs and interactive entertainment for children.
Costumes encouraged
Younger guests are encouraged to come dressed for the occasion.
Friendswood ISD specifically invites children to wear princess or hero costumes, adding another layer of fun to the pregame event.
Families and children of all ages are welcome.
Tickets are $15. They will be available at the door, but Friendswood ISD says advance purchase is preferred.
Perfect timing for Friday night football
Pasta Palooza wraps up at 7 p.m., just as Friendswood’s varsity football game against Iowa Colony is scheduled to kick off.
That makes the event an easy pregame option for Mustang families already planning to spend Friday evening around Friendswood High School.
The combination of dinner, family entertainment and football gives residents a chance to support multiple student programs in one evening.
Supporting Friendswood High School Choir
The event is organized through the Friendswood High School Choir program and Choir Booster organization.
Events like Pasta Palooza give the choir an opportunity to bring the larger community into the school while showcasing student performers and supporting the program’s activities.
For families with younger children, it also offers an unusual pregame experience that goes well beyond the typical Friday-night dinner stop.
